The Friends is the volunteer-powered, book-processing, and outreach program of the Foundation. The Friends support the Houston Public Library by processing used books and by supporting initiatives, and events through volunteerism and advocacy.
Starting Monday, June 1st, we will begin accepting No Contact Book Donations at our Book Warehouse. Please complete the form below to schedule a time to drop off your books. When you arrive at the warehouse, someone from our team will come to your car and take the books from your trunk. We will email your tax-deductible receipt to the address provided within a few business days.
All book donations will sit in a designated area for at least 48 hours before being shelved for our next book sale.
