Elizabeth Gomez
Operations and Communications Manager
Elizabeth joined the Foundation at the beginning of 2021 and has become an integral support system for the development team. Elizabeth comes to us with over 15 years in customer service, along with virtual event and raiser’s edge experience.
Elizabeth graduated from the University of Houston with a BA in communication, majoring in Public Relations, minoring in International Business. She also received her Entrepreneur certificate from the University of Houston’s Entrepreneurship program.
Bryan Cardenas
Volunteer and Warehouse Coordinator
Bryan Cardenas joined the Foundation in the summer of 2017 and has supported the Friends of HPL book processing program. Bryan is a member of the Metropolitan Volunteer Program at the University of Houston where he is completing his BA in Education. Bryan was a long-time Friends volunteer through the MVP program before joining the team.
Bryan plans on teaching English in Middle School and has begun his student teaching. One of Bryan’s favorite books is Charlotte’s Web and he enjoys spending time with his family when he is not studying, volunteering or at work.
