2018 Annual Meeting Recap

With creative innovation, your Houston Public Library met unparalleled challenges, always keeping you, our customers and patrons, the the fore front of our thoughts an actions. Together we were able to celebrate a year of resilience at our 2018 Annual Meeting.

This year, the gathering highlighted extraordinary programs that are indicative of the high quality and high impact services that are available to the community for free through the Houston Public Library. TechLink, LiftOff Houston, The Living Room and Youth Services were a few of the programs present that evening to share their successes from the previous year.

Library leadership shared information regarding Hurricane Harvey recovery, increased support and the progress of the Barbara Bush Literacy Plaza. Our faithful volunteers were recognized and the Igniting Impact Award was presented to the Astros Foundation for their collaborative efforts to raise literacy awareness.

Special thanks to everyone who attended! We look forward to another successful year.
