Your Houston Public Library links people to the world, through educational, recreational, and cultural programs for persons of all ages, ethnicities, and life stages. The City of Houston’s budget does not support any of the Library’s program activities. Library programs exist through the generosity of individuals, foundations, organizations, and businesses who share our collective belief in the transformational power of lifelong learning.
Houston Public Library Foundation and Friends of Houston Public Library collaborate to provide unwavering support of the Houston Public Library programs and initiatives.
