Spring is Here! How will YOU celebrate?
As the flowers bloom and the daylight hours hang around a bit longer, we are sure you are taking advantage of some warm sunlight after a brutal winter.
We are right there with you, soaking up the sunrays, gardening, and making plans for the upcoming summer months.
The Houston Public Library Foundation is grateful for your continued support as we work together to ensure your neighborhood libraries remain a viable resource for your use. We know how much your library means to you, your family, and your friends. Your library is that familiar place where you can come to do research for a project, apply for a job, get your passport, bring your child to hear a fun story during storybook hour, and of course, check out books.
Last year, the Houston Public Library (HPL) system like many other institutions, felt the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. HPL staff worked promptly to create alternative service delivery protocols to meet you where you were. Even amid a pandemic, your library came shining through. It was something like–magic!
This Spring, we are asking for your support to help us celebrate the magic of libraries and reach our Spring Campaign goal of $40,000 with your gift in the following areas:
- Donate $25 to purchase 5 Books for summer programs
- Donate $50 to purchase 5 Books and supplies for summer programs
- Donate $100 to purchase 10 Books, supplies, and materials for summer programs
- Donate $250 to purchase 20 Books, supplies, and materials for summer programs
- Donate $500 to further The Library Foundation’s overall fundraising initiatives this year
- Donate $1000 and become a STREAMerShip Champion by supporting the Camp STREAM program which offers a FREE camp experience for youth.
